Vietnamese Cultural Society Metropolitan Washington

Description

The VCSMW provides a Vietnamese language and cultural class, the Thang Long school, in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. Through these weekly classes, Vietnamese-American youths learn to speak, read, and write Vietnamese, as well as history, arts, music and literature. Most students range from age 7 to 18. All teachers are volunteers and include former grade school and high school teachers in Vietnam, VCSMW staff, and local university students.
